Lectures and Workshops

The Summer School offers a number of theoretical and methodological workshops and lectures that – apart from enhancing theoretical knowledge and practical skills – increase the awareness of the similarities and differences in approaches to media and communication research carried out in different European states.

A great emphasis is put on workshops that address practical research issues. Consequentially, there are also various skill-based workshops where students learn about project management and train their skills in abstract writing, presentation methods, literature reviewing and interviewing. Lectures deepen fundamental knowledge and address most recent issues with a special focus on the year’s main topic
